NEC is promising to make a big splash at this year’s Gitex. The Japan-based vendor is importing a full range of servers, monitors, plasma display screens and projectors.

“The company took its time in analysing the market and its customers to be absolutely sure that its product offering is not only technologically advanced... but [has] the right composition of other elements to fit in to the customer’s aspirations and values in this most exciting region,” said Paul Gamboa, sales development manager, NEC Computers, for the Middle East.

Topping the vendor’s product range is going to be the Intel-based Express 5800 server series.

The 5800 series cover all user requirements, from the entry level all the way up to high-end server environments.
