Compaq intends to highlight its latest Internet access and wireless technologies at this year's show. The company's services divisions will feature solutions and services such as e-procurement, customer relationship management and fraud management for both the large business and the individual.

At the enterprise level, the Global Services team will demonstrate to regional customers how to plan, implement and maintain their computer environments.

The services division of Compaq aims to help customers integrate and manage technology as they try to compete effectively in the e-business economy.

In particular, it assists customers in the building of an intelligent infrastructure that integrates systems, networks, storage, security, and management in order to boost performance. Customised networks can be built that combine voice, data, and video to allow staff to communicate any way they want to.

The company also assists organisations as they exploit new opportunities and attempt to turn their businesses into 'e-businesses'.

Compaq will also be introducing the the GS series of servers for the first time. The GS 160, which Compaq claims to be "one of the fastest servers in the market today," will feature alongside the ProLiant and TaskSmart range and storage solutions such as StorageWorks Data Replication Manager.

To round off the company's Gitex content, the company will display its iPAQ PocketPC and the Compaq Evo family of corporate products, including notebooks, desktops and workstations.
