Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) has taken its business into cyberspace with the launch of two sites — www.enoc.com and www.eppcouae.com.

Both sites were delivered after dedicated teams from ENOC and EPPCO worked around the clock. GTS, the group’s IT subsidy provided the coding for enoc.com.

“Both sites were created with the enormous potential of the new economy and the challenges it poses for our diversification strategy in mind,” said Hussain Sultan, group chief executive and board member, ENOC.

Enoc.com offers information on the group’s 22 subsidiaries and the EPPCO site is being seen as the initial phase of a ‘new economy strategy designed to established EPPCO’s e-foundations.’

“With over one million conventional transactions a month, eppcouae.com has significant prospects to develop into a powerful marketing asset,” said Sultan.

Both sites plan to deliver dedicated and regular news updates. There is also a strong management commitment to delivering Arabic support in the near future.

“Arabic language content will be integrated into the sites as they gradually developed into an interactive means of information exchange for customers and the industry worldwide,” commented Sultan.
