Relisys, a division of Teco is looking to increase its distribution power across the Middle East in a bid to create brand awareness amongst end-users.

Relisys signs exclusive distribution agreements with its partners, in order to control the market price and margin, but also expects the partner to become a Relisys service centre into the bargain. “We want to have exclusive distributors in each market as they have to be reliable and prepared to promote our brand,” says Maria Lin, channel manager, Relisys MEASA.

In addition to its CRT monitors, Relisys has recently expanded its product portfolio to include Plasma screens and CD-ROMs, with support arriving in the form of a local representative once partners for each market have been found. “A good distribution network is what we are trying to do at the moment,” says Dave Stevinson, director, sales and marketing, Relisys.
