Juma Al Majid Group teams with Tejari

The Juma Al Majid Group has joined Tejari.com as part of an initiative to update its entire IT infrastructure and procurement strategy.

The Juma Al Majid Group has joined Tejari.com as part of an initiative to update its entire IT infrastructure and procurement strategy. By buying and selling through the business-to-business (B2B) portal the thirty company strong business group aims to cut procurement costs and expose itself to a broader market.

Whilst gunning for the global market, the Juma Al Majid Group will also use Tejari to transact business with Dubai government departments and other strategic clients in the region.

“As a new Tejari member, the Juma Al Majid Group hopes to widen its exposure beyond the Middle East, and interact with global traders through the Tejari marketplace,” says Jawad Abu Farha, IT director, Juma Al Majid Group.

“The Juma Al Majid Group is one of the region’s most diverse and respected trading organizations, and Tejari’s members will welcome the opportunity to procure the Group’s goods and services online,” adds Lubna Al Qasimi, managing director, Tejari.com.

Once established with Tejari, the Juma Al Majid Group’s intends to integrate the Group’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution with the online marketplace. This integration will streamline the Juma Al Majid Group’s buying cycle and enable it to collaborate more effectively with its trading partners.
