Internet kiosks for Dubai

People in Dubai may soon be able to access the web from pretty much anywhere if local businesses are keen enough to adopt a new Internet kiosk.

Internet kiosks may soon be a common sight in Dubai after Cyber Gear announced that it wants to see 24 of its new kiosks installed hotels, shopping centres and government departments within 12 months.

"Internet kiosks offer an opportunity for organisations in the region to promote their business online through an interactive user experience," said Sharad Agarwal, Cyber Gear's chief executive.

"We are offering a range of basic an high-end networked kiosks to suit all requirements."

The kiosks start at around US $7,500, and include full keyboards with track balls and printing facilit
