Logica, a global IT solutions provider, has inaugurated its regional mobile networks support centre within the company’s new Middle East headquarters at the Dubai Internet City (DIC). The launch of a regional mobile networks support center within the Middle East is said to be indicative of Logica’s growing presence within the region.

“The Middle East represents a vibrant and expanding market for Logica – not only in the telecoms sector but in financial services, the government and a host of industries that are critical to the region’s economy,” said Christopher McDermott, Logica’s supervisory managing director for the Middle East, Far East, and Australia.

The center provides round-the-clock support to Logica’s key telecommunications clients, including Batelco in Bahrain, MTCG in Kuwait and LibanCell in Lebanon.

“By creating a scalable support infrastructure in the Middle East, Logica has demonstrated that we are investing in the success of the region, and putting measures in place that enable us to grow as our regional client base increases,” said McDermott.

Logica anticipates that the center will grow by at least 25 percent in the next twelve months, based on its current share of the telecoms solution market in the Middle East.
