Epson has moved to strengthen its Middle East operations with the announcement of two senior appointments. Khalil El Dalu is promoted to general manager of the company’s Jebel Ali based operations and Scott Leach joins as regional sales manager from Epson’s UK office.

“I have already enjoyed working with the Epson team in the Middle East, during which time the brand has made a significant impression in the marketplace,” said El Dalu. “I look forward to strengthening every aspect of our services to customers and partners. I also look forward to forging closer relationships with strategic customers.”

Leach will focus on consumables and dotmatrix printers with sales responsibilities for Bahrain, Libya, Iran, Sudan, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine.

“Epson has made so much headway in the last few years that we are close to achieving our goal of becoming the leading player in the printer and peripherals market," said Leach. "My goal is to maintain the impetus and take us to the number one spot as soon as possible.”
