ESGulf and ITI@Zayed University provide hacker insight

A new series of seminars and workshops aims to provide managers and technical personnel with the information, skills and understanding to protect business networks.

E-Security Gulf Group (ESGroup) and Zayed University’s Institute for Technological Innovation (ITI) are hosting a series of seminars to help improve network security in the Middle East. The seminars, presented in conjunction with Instecdigital, will focus on providing insight into hacking and hackers techniques for managers and technical staff.

“We are bringing the latest hacker’s techniques and tools to the Middle East to increase the awareness and the need for safe protection from the threat that comes from the Internet,” said Olga Souflarskaya, marketing and events manager, ESGulf. “We have used the latest technologies and techniques to build a state of the art workshop series.”

ITI@Zayed University has been established to promote research and training for the workforce of the UAE for the new economy. Areas of focus include information technology, business strategy and management best practice.

The courses, which will mix practical information with technical hands on exercises, are being run from June 9-13 in Dubai and 16-20 June in Abu Dhabi. For more details see www.esgulf.com.
