DTK enters 1GHz notebook market

The gap between notebook and desktop performance is becoming less pronounced all the time. With the release of the Fortis Pro 3480 DTK has unveiled its most powerful notebook ever.

PC manufacturer DTK has announced the launch of its most powerful notebook computer to date. The FortisPro 3480 is equipped with the Intel Pentium III chip and is capable of offering processing speeds of up to 1GHz. Since Intel announced 1GHz performance on a notebook around twenty manufacturers have stated they will be supporting the performance standard. DTK’s announcement confirms its position as one of the leading manufacturers of performance notebooks.

The FortisPro 3480 is aimed at being a complete Desktop Replacement (DTR) and is designed to bring a range of high quality options to the road warrior. A striking design positions the new notebook as a distinctly consumer device. With a DVD-ROM drive, stereo speakers, up to 64MB of video share memory and an integrated 3D graphics engine the FortisPro is ideally equipped to deal with demanding requirements of digital entertainment.

Fully Arabic enabled and featuring a high bandwidth memory solution the Fortis Pro 3480 is also designed to offer a progressive mobile Internet experience.
