The three-day Airport Build and Supply exhibition has officially opened at the Airport Expo, Dubai. The exhibition has attracted a line-up of exhibitors, all vying to be part of the Government’s ambitious development plan to make Dubai International Airport one of the world’s leading aviation hubs.

The exhibition is to act as a forum for suppliers and contractors that will be able to meet decision-makers and be able to showcase their products, services and technologies. The idea is to enable the creation of major business opportunities in connection with airport development and expansion taking place across the Middle East.

“The exhibition has created the perfect platform for suppliers and contractors seeking to secure major projects, and to break into the Middle East market,” said Joanne Evans, director of Streamline Marketing.

Among the exhibitors taking part are Al Naboodah Contracting LLC, UAE-based Thomas Bennett Gulf, part of the Al Nekhreh Group of Companies (ANC) and Aluminium & Light Industries Co Ltd (ALICO), all hoping to explore potential future projects and market their products at the exhibition.

During the event, appointed consultants are meeting with exhibitors to discuss design, construction, and supply requirements for the $1.4 billion second development phase of Dubai International Airport, which features a third terminal, a second concourse and a Mega Cargo Terminal.
