Turkish e-recruitment company, Careerglobal.net is looking to go global following its move to Dubai Internet City (DIC), and plans to launch a global online human resources programme within the next week.

The company was responsible for Turkey’s first online recruitment site www.kariyer.net, which launched two years ago, and has since registered 250,000 job seekers and 487 companies.

“This is our first office outside of Turkey, others are planned in Europe and Asia, but DIC will be our Middle East control hub,” said Lalin Tuna, marketing manager, careerglobal.net. “DIC was the right choice because of its technology infrastructure and because of the speed with which we could move. From the initial conception to having the office up and running has been no longer than two months.”

Careerglobal.net will enable job seekers to post their CVs on the site free of charge, and promises confidentiality for both candidates and member companies.

“Candidates and members get personal user names and passwords, and candidates can code in companies which they do not want to see their CV, and there is a system alert to ensure this happens,” added Tuna.

The site will also offer an application management module, which allows candidates to check the progress of their applications.

“The application management module also filters through candidates, matching qualifications to members’ criteria, and can issue apology letters on their branded paper via the module,” explained Tuna.

Membership fees for companies will start from $2500 per year.
