Dubai’s The Business Channel is to launch an Arabic language breakfast business show. The programme will be anchored by Mureed Hammad, a 20 year TV veteran.

‘This Morning with Mureed Hammad’ will include news from local and international markets, plus analysis by financial experts of the latest business trends. The programme will run between 7.30 and 8.30, Saturday to Wednesday.

“We spare no expense when it comes down to accurately and factually presenting the day’s top business developments,” says Hammad.

The launch of the programme follows the arrival of Stephen Marney as director of news & program development. Marney has been charged with increasing the channel’s profile and market reach in an effort to focus more regional and international attention on the UAE and Dubai.

“‘This Morning with Mureed Hammad’ offers a unique pan-Arab perspective on world-breaking business stories and tackles major global economic and financial issues,” says Marney.
