Global network and systems integrator, Navlink, has opened its regional office at Dubai Internet City (DIC). The establishment of operations in Dubai allows NavLink to work more effectively with its regional customers.

“We have been serving customers in the UAE and the region for several years now,” said Laurent Delifer, co-president of NavLink. “Opening a regional office here and staffing it appropriately was a customer request and has actually been in our investment plans for quite some time,” he added.

NavLink is committing additional resources as well as contemplating strategic partnerships with key regional players. Concert, the AT&T/ British Telecom (BT) global venture, has also taken a minority stake in the company.

“NavLink’s new data centre addresses a significant need of multinational companies for reliable, scalable web hosting services,” said Gary Weis, Concert CEO. “This announcement complements the capabilities that Concert has in place today to serve customers either directly or through its relationship with AT&T and BT,” he added.
