Gateway is stepping ‘Beyond the Box’ and branching into financing and Internet services, including a personalised Internet portal. The hardware vendor has also promised to increase its range of peripherals, software, training and service options.

Gateway has already launched a CD-ROM-based PC training solution called, Learning Library, in the Middle East as part of its latest strategy. This will be followed by an online training initiative in the region.

“The ‘Beyond the Box’ move is the next logical step in our drive to create lifelong relationships with clients,” said Lenia Iacovides, director International, Gateway, EMEA.

“People today are embracing a wave of technology which can do more than ever before. They want to understand how to make the most of devices, such as the Internet for their home and business needs and they want easy actions to the solutions,” added Iacovides
