Visa creates Internet cafes for DSF

Visa International is currently promoting its virtual presence as it prepares to sponsor the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) for the 6th time

Visa International is sponsoring the Dubai Shopping Festival for the 6th time this year and has set up three of its own Internet cafes as part of this. The cafes will be situated at the Global Village, Al Seef and Marakabat Road.

“As well as bringing fun packed and entertaining events to the DSF, we really have pulled out the stops this year to bring the Internet to as many people as possible,” said Premal Patel, head of Middle East Marketing for Visa.

'Entertaining events' are to include juggling, prize promotions and visits from Mr Visa, company mascot. However, the key focus will be on the Internet aspect which is to include technical expertise from Hewlett Packard at the cafes and Starbucks selling refreshments.
