Dubai Ideas Oasis and the Dubai Shopping Festival have recently formed a partnership agreement on order to relaunch the Web site. The idea, aimed at increasing daily visits, has so far been successful with 1,000,000 hits in the first four days of its new operation.

“The response in the first four days since the site has gone live has been tremendously encouraging,” said Dubai Shopping Festival chief executive Hussain Lootah. “The registration by visitors from so many different countries clearly demonstrates the international attraction of the Festival and what we have to offer visitors – both physically at the Festival and online to families from all over the world.”

The major attractions for visitors are said to be the improved interactivity of the site that delivers the opportunity to win daily prizes for registering on the site or participating in fun to play online games and quizzes.

“We anticipate even heavier traffic on the site when the Dubai Shopping Festival commences on 1 March as some elements of the site will not become operational until that day,” said Aaditya Sarna, Dubai Ideas Oasis consultant. “For example the “Celebrity Chats” and the online shopping element of the site will not begin until 1 March,” she added.
