Jeraisy Computer and Communications Services is suing Apple over the alleged breach of its agency contract. The Saudi Arabian computer giant says that Apple acted illegally when it appointed Dubai-based Apple Partner Arab Business Machines (ABM) as a partner for the Kingdom. Jeraisy subsidiary Jeraisy Tech had previously been Apple's partner in Saudi Arabia.

The litigation effectively draws to a close a 22 year relationship between the two companies.

A Jeraisy spokesman refused to comment when approached him, as the matter is now in the hands of Jeraisy's lawyers. However, the Arab News reported that Jeraisy "said Apple changed the agency in a hostile manner." was told that the lawyer handling the case is the same one that defended the two British nurses charged with the murder of an Australian nurse in Saudi Arabia in 1998.
