Taking pride of place at the show will be the Taiwanese vendor’s Pentium III-based TravelMate 739 notebook, which touts enhanced security with a built-in fingerprint recognition device and 4.5 hours battery life. Also being exhibited is the all in one Veriton FP2 and Acer’s initial 1 GHz machine.

“Saudi Computer 2001 is an ideal opportunity for Acer to showcase its latest technologies to the Saudi business and consumer communities, and we’ve created new product bundles and promotions specifically for exhibition attendees,” noted Basem Ewaiwi, Country Sales Manager, Acer Computer.

“Acer is among the top IT vendors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and our products are proven to meet the computing needs of mobile executives, businesses, and home users,” Ewaiwi adds.
