Information Management International (IMI)—a global network of records and information management businesses—has moved into the Middle East, aiming to give the e-governments and the oil industries of the region a helping hand.

Using Dubai-based DocMan—a data services company—the two companies will combine resources and services specifically aimed at Middle East clients.

“The UAE market places a high value on quality and standards. The IMI tie-up introduces cross border standards and business practices that our collective clients can depend upon,” says Zaigham Haque, managing director of DocMan.

According to the companies, the tie-up will provide companies with one-stop shopping for a wide range of management services, offering clients access to a broad range of comprehensive data management services than any other single records management company.

Products and services offered by the companies include: document scanning and imaging; secure storage of hard copy and other media records; data transcription for the Energy and Oil Exploration sector and document management consultancy.
