Acer heads into the future with notebook security
Acer's latest addition to its notebook range offers mobile users added data protection using biometric trechnology in the form of fingerprint security for one-touch access.
Acer has ventured into the realm of the future with its latest notebook, the TravelMate 739TLV. The notebook has integrated biometric technology in the form of fingerprint security, offering added data protection for mobile users.
With a 15” TFT LCD panel, picture quality is assured with 2x AGP video controller with 8MB SDRAM, 3D acceleration and DVD playback. Other features include Pentium III at 850MHz, 128MB of PC-100 SDRAM, 20GB HDD and floppy disk drive.

Designed to be an office desktop replacement, cable management problems are eliminated with Acer’s optional DockMate V docking station. For state-of-the-art communications, the optional USB camera allows full video-capture tasking, including video conferencing and video email. The 739TLV is also preloaded with Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition or Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional.
