Jordan National Bank (JNB) has signed a deal with Computel S.A.R.L to install four high-end Acer Altos 22000 server units, aimed at improving performance, reliability, and online services to customers in Lebanon.

The Altos 22000 unit is a new generation server with huge computing power and uses high-end quad Xeon processors designed for use in large-scale applications.

“The Jordan National Bank chose Acer Altos 22000 server units for the status Acer enjoys in developing state-of-the-art computing solutions for the corporate sector in the Middle East market, and due to the full after-sales support which Computel S.A.R.L. gives to its clients” said Ziad Yacoub, Assistant Managing Director at Computel, Acer’s authorised channel partner in Lebanon. Computel will also provide the bank’s employees with extensive training courses.

“Acer is rapidly acquiring market share in the corporate banking sector in the Middle East, and by only choosing to work with resellers who present the best in terms of after-sale and technical support services, Acer will achieve more successes in that lucrative market,” added Antoine Noujeim, Country Sales Manager, Acer Computer (ME).
