A sigh of relief could be heard from technophiles throughout the Middle East as T2 was officially launched in the region. The new consumer electronics magazine promises a vibrant, cutting edge look at what the successful Middle East consumer will be sporting as soon as his or her next wage cheque comes in.

ITP chose Plug-ins, the well-respected electronics store in Dubai City Centre, as the launch venue. Shoppers were then offered first looks at T2’s dynamic blend of news, reviews and features, collected from across the globe.

Initial crowds were particularly interested in the buyers’ guide at the back of the issue, listing Middle East contacts for each of the products discussed. With local reference points a priority for T2, the magazine promises to eat, sleep and breathe consumer technology — from the heart of the Middle East.

"The Middle East is a very sophisticated and discerning market, so the effort and research we put into the magazine has paid dividends," said Alex Reeve, marketing manager, ITP.

"T2 was so well received at the launch that it promises to quickly become indispensable reading for manufacturers, retailers and consumers alike," he added.

T2 joins the prestigious ITP stable of publications, sharing a wealth of publishing experience with field leaders such as Windows User Magazine Middle East and Arabian Business.Com.

Drawing on a wealth of experience in the rapidly converging IT, consumer and mobile spheres, readers can rest assured that if it's new, and if you’d kill for it, it’s in T2.
