In an initiative that is the first of its kind on the Internet, Human Appeal International in the association with Ajeeb.com has offered the faithful, through Ajeeb’s Ramadan Channel (Ramadan.ajeeb.com) the unique opportunity to pay Zakat al-Fitr and other charitable contributions over the Internet, over a secure server that ensures the safety of the contributor’s personal information and the safety of his credit card details and amounts paid.

H.E. Salem Ahmed Abdul Rehman, Secretary General of Human Appeal International, stated: ”In this age where technology is considered a fundamental tool for development, Muslims must rely on technical advances and make use of them to further the course of Islamic charitable work and to reveal the noble motives of Islam, in addition to widening the scope of charitable work to encompass Internet users worldwide.
