The Internet will be as hot a topic of conversation as ever at this year at the Tech Data/CRN Channel Forum, when the top vendors in their respective fields tell the channel of opportunities in this space in 2001.

Intel, Foundry Networks, Microsoft, IMG, Cisco, and Lucent all have focused seminars in this area, and resellers interested in new-economy businesses and how the future is shaping, had better plan to get themselves there.

"From the content of the seminars, it is clear that the Internet will play a radical new role of the channel in the next millennium," says Alex Reeve, Tech Data/CRN Channel Forum organiser.

Topics range from Intel's simple 'Build Your Own Internet Presence, to the more technical 'Building Blocks for the Internet Economy: Data Centres,' and Cisco's 'Security and Virtual Private Network Solutions.'

For more information, check out the timetables for seminars on the day, which will be posted in easily accessible points throughout the exhibition centre foyers.
