ITP.net is going mobile. ITP, the region’s leading IT and business publisher, has teamed up with Info2Cell, a specialist in mobile information services, to allow executives to access ITP.net on their mobile phones.

ITP.net content will be re-formatted as a condensed SMS news feed. People with WAP connections will then be able to connect directly into Info2Cell’s system or log into ITP.net from their PCs to read full stories.

“ITP’s magazines have long led the way in our technology publishing market, and today these combine with the company’s Internet-based ITP.net news services to deliver the richest technology media content in the region’s mobile market,” said Bashar Dahabra, CEO of Info2Cell.

“Info2Cell now delivers ITP’s content to GSM users as SMS notifications of breaking stories, along with WAP-driven access to the latest in-depth detail and analysis of breaking news in the regional IT industry.”

“ITP’s team of 25 editors and reporters publish stories as they break onto ITP.net. In the fast-paced world of IT and the Internet, this is an essential service to ITP professionals in the region. The ability to add SMS and WAP feeds to our stories means our readers are never out of touch with the latest news and information,” said Neil Davies, general manager for ITP.

“Working with Info2Cell is a natural fit for us. We strive to be market leaders in every venture we undertake, and we only work in partnership with companies that think the same way,” he added.
