Frequent fliers can look forward to widespread cuts in duty free shopping in Dubai after Dubai Duty Free (DDF) signed an agreement to source suppliers through Tejari.com.

Colin McLoughlin, DDF managing director, expects DDF to reduce its buying costs and speed up its ordering process by trading online.
The timing of the agreement has coincided with the opening of a new 5,500 square metre facility in Dubai airport.

The new outlet is almost four times the size of the old one and new items for the product range will be sourced immediately online from Internet catalogues available through Tejari.com.
