IBM and International Business Systems (IBS) have formed a strategic alliance to provide a comprehensive system of e-business solutions.

Under the alliance, IBM will allocate staff to support marketing and sales of the IBM/IBS solutions. At the same time IBS will use IBM’s AS/400 and Netfinity servers as its preferred platforms.

The two companies are also looking into cooperating over application service providing (ASP).
