Epson has integrated pigment ink technology into the most recent addition to its Stylus printer family.

With the Stylus 2000P the printer manufacturer is claiming that its Perfect Picture Imaging System (PPIS) produces photo quality output that can be displayed in excess of 100 years in normal indoor lighting environments.

“With advancements in digital imaging, photographers are demanding greater print durability, and with this announcement, they can now achieve the ultimate in photographic reproduction,” said Jonathan Baker, Epson Middle East’s general manager.

“The guarantee of light fastness and durability will enable their works to last a lifetime, whether it’s in a personal photo album or on display in professional galleries,” he added.
