Trend Micro is looking ahead with the launch of its latest consumer security release, Internet Security Suite 2007. This comprehensive release combines Trend Micro’s ‘PC-Cillin’ anti-virus (AV) engine and anti-malware protection along with a host of new features to address the issues of rootkits, spyware, phishing, spam, hackers, viruses, WiFi attacks, smart phone threats and the growing number of identity-theft threats. Internet Security’s ‘family license’ subscription includes TrendSecure, Trend Micro’s new online security service, which the firm claims will provide security not only for consumers that connect at home, but also when on the go. Trend Micro’s Internet Security Suite 2007 costs approximately US $50 for a three-user ‘family’ license.
