Saudi IT services outfit EJADA has been named as the master reseller for security management solutions vendor NetIQ in the Kingdom.

NetIQ, which is part of security vendor Attachmate, claims the appointment of EJADA has been made to satisfy a number of business-related and technical drivers in the Saudi market, including regulatory compliance and adaptation of ITIL processes.

"The sign-up of EJADA extends our reach to the key sectors of banking, financial services, telecommunications and government," said Geoff Brooks, business development manager at NetIQ Middle East. "EJADA has proven its reliability and strength in marketing, deploying and supporting NetIQ's solutions in many large institutions in Saudi."

Fawaz Abou Nasr, executive VP of business development and planning at EJADA, says the agreement with NetIQ is a "valuable addition" to the company's range of infrastructure and service management offering.

"NetIQ's best-of-breed solutions will help our customer base and Saudi IT organisations to deliver critical business services, mitigate operational risk and manage policy compliance," said Abou Nasr.

EJADA operates out of Riyadh and boasts points of presence in Egypt, Jordan and the UAE. The 450-strong outfit calls upon a network of partners to reach other Middle East markets where it does not have direct representation.
