Sybase Products Middle East has struck up an alliance with Saudi firm Mirnah Technology Systems (MTS).

Under the terms of the agreement, MTS will promote Sybase's mobility solutions across the Kingdom and implement Sybase technologies in developing its own mobile computing solutions.

"MTS' major strengths lie in its 15-plus years of experience in implementing mobile computing solutions in the Middle East and its experienced team of professionals, who have a thorough understanding of the mobility market as well as a solid reputation for quality," said Hareth BaniMustafa, business development manager for the Unwired Division at Sybase Products Middle East.

The pair will be working closely to promote Sybase's frontline device management solution, which provides full control of various handheld devices and laptops remotely.

"Sybase provides complete mobility solutions that enable companies to build applications that are independent of delivery devices and wireless network standards," said Abdullah Aldamer, CEO at MTS.
