Dell announces Euro tour

IT giant Dell announces its largest ever technology and solutions tour, to take in 18 European countries.

IT giant Dell has announced the schedule for its largest ever technology and solutions tour, set to visit 24 European cities in 18 countries.

The tour, themed ‘Dell is changing the game', kicks off on May 1, 2007 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and concludes in London, England, in June. Corporate customers will learn how Dell is changing the way its solutions are being developed, optimised and delivered to meet customers' needs.

"The tour provides our customers with an ideal forum to engage with product and solutions experts from both Dell and its strategic alliance partners. These experts can offer guidance and recommendations on how to best utilise Dell's technology solutions in the business environment as well as answering technical and specific enquiries," said Carsten Hasselbalch, marketing director Dell Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

"Most importantly, the input and feedback from customers at these events is directly utilised in the future planning and development of Dell's products and solutions, ensuring they continue to meet and surpass the needs of the customer," he added.

Dell's strategic alliance partners present on the tour will include Intel, Altiris, AbsoluteSoftware, AMD, Emerson, EMC, LanDesk, Microsoft and Quantum.

A Dell source contacted by Arabian Business was unable to confirm whether the company had plans to extend the tour to the Middle East region in the future.
