Security software vendor McAfee has launched a new programme to reward channel partners in EMEA.

The updated scheme will see incentives credited to a new Rewards Visa card, which partners can spend in any store that accepts Visa payments.

"Under the old voucher-based system, partners felt that there was a long lead time between the approval of their deals and actually receiving the rewards to spend," said Middle East channel manager Samer Malak (below). "The vouchers could only be used at specific stores, whereas the new Visa debit card enables partners to redeem their rewards at a vast range of retail outlets."

The new programme will be named ‘McAfee Rewards - EMEA' and will be substantiated by a new website where McAfee SecurityAlliance partners can access their account, track rewards and stay up to date with the latest incentives and competitions.

McAfee also plans to increase the number of products that will be eligible for rewards, providing partners with additional opportunities to earn incentives.
