IP telephony vendor Syscom Emirates has launched a voice network management solution in the Middle East.

The company, a subsidiary of Dubai Investments-owned M'sharie, claimed the Syscom sIPC300 enabled businesses to simplify the management of their communications infrastructure by acting as a single gateway for voice networks.

The solution incorporates features such as voicemail, call recording, call reporting and conference rooms on one network.

Syscom said the entire configuration would be done using a PC browser.

"Phone calls are better handled as the IP-PBX phone system can be managed internally and not by the telephone company, while the calls are transmitted via a data network instead of the traditional telephone network," said Yawar Sajjad, general manager at Syscom Emirates.

"These features enable all connections and extensions to be administered by the organisation without having to depend on an external PBX service vendor," he added.
